INSPIRATION

I have had a stack of old paperbacks for years. When I was young they hid behind the sliding door of my grandparents captains bed. I used to take them out and study the illustrations, bits of type, notice that the printing looked different… but didn’t really know what it was about it that I liked so much. At some point I took them home. The same stack has served as inspiration, or reference, over and over.
